I have been away in blogging because I have been very busy and I have many things to attend to. But surely, I cannot say goodbye to blogging now.

For those who are my constant companions in Facebook, you can contact me still in my YM and Google account.

10 FUN Things I can do with a New Lenovo Laptop

Well, I really have no idea what FUN really means for other people but I can describe FUN in my own little way. FUN means being able to enjoy what life has to offer. So for me, the 10 FUN things I can do with a new Lenovo Laptop would be:

1. Having a new laptop means having a new IP address, right? So, I can go posting new comments using another account to my blogger friends and they will not know I am the one making those comments if I don’t tell them, so I’d probably go visiting their blog sites and leave comments that would amuse them and let them guess who I really am, isn’t it FUN?

2. I am a social-network ADDICT! And having a new laptop would keep me POSTED for every new updates of my friend’s Facebook’s status, my followed celebrities’ tweets, and I can keep up with my KARMA in Plurk.

3. I can finally LEARN how to edit my pictures, I have a desktop but it is super SLOWWWWW so I can’t download even a decent way of editing my pictures. I am envious of those who know how to edit their pictures with photoshop’s help.

4. Having a Lenovo Laptop also means that I can now use my face in order to keep other people from using it. Instead of having a password, I can let my new Lenovo laptop identify me as the sole owner of that laptop and that I am the only one who could open it.

5. Well, number 4 seems FUN because my two little brothers will not be able to open it and they would go begging me for my FACE (ahaha). So my idea of FUN for number 5 would be, before my two little brothers could play their favorite online or offline games in my new Lenovo Laptop I’m will ask them to kiss and hug me first even though they hate to that.

6. Video Call with my boyfriend who works in New Zealand sounds FUN! I haven’t done that! With a new Lenovo Laptop, nothing stops me from video chatting through Skype or Yahoo Messenger I guess. Imagine making you much closer to your love one with the help of a new Lenovo Laptop, it is more than FUN, it is AMAZING!

7. I can also LISTEN to my favorite songs of all time with the use of the new Lenovo Laptop, nobody could stop me from listening to Frank Sinatra’s My Way, Tom Jones’ Delilah, and Boyzone’s On Bended Knees all over again!

8. I and my son could watch Cars (movie) or Barney or Little Einstein on my new Lenovo Laptop without my mom being bothered for her Willing-Willie time.

9. I can bring with me the new Lenovo Laptop anywhere I went because it is sleek and with only 14” display I can just stuff it into my shoulder bag.

10. Lastly, I could FINALLY teach my mom how to use the internet! I wanted to buy her a laptop or a notebook for Christmas because she doesn’t even know how to turn it on; I want my mom to make her own Facebook account in order to connect with her long-lost friends, brothers and sisters abroad too. It would be FUN because I could also teach her how to blog and maybe we could have a daughter-mother blog site.

Here I go again, making my entry for Yugatech’s Contest, I usually win in Abe’s contest when it is raffled but if he and his friends has the choice of picking the winners, I can’t seem to have Mr. Luck on me or because I can’t tickle their minds that much. But I hope I made them smile this time. :)

Which Lenovo IdeaPad Laptop Are You?

I am a Lenovo IdeaPad U160! Light yet Powerful! I can easily see myself in the Lenovo IdeaPad U160, I am thin and light when it comes to my weight and yet people who doesn't know what I am capable of are shocked when the moment my strengths are revealed to them. A person should not judge someone or something based on his looks or what he wears but a person must dig dipper in order to know what is the capability and characteristics of the person/thing he judges.

My official entry to the Lenovo-PTB Great Laptop Giveaway.

Christmas Giveaway Badge

I am not good in making Badges, Vera created the badge of this blog, the LUCKYZOAN badge. That is why I don't have a contest badge, but Nash created a cute badge for my Christmas Giveaway and I am so thankful to her for making such an effort. :)

I meet Nash in Adgitize, yes I saw her name in the forum. THank You Nash for creating a Christmas Giveaway badge, so for the bloggers who wants to join my contest, you can put this badge in your blog and I would be glad to give you another 2 points for that :)

Earning Money Online

So far, the best money earning online ways for me are Adgitize and Blogsvertise aside from writing articles.
I also earn through online contests . . . Though you cannot assure yourself of winning, it is worth a try too.

I will post more proof of payments for the coming days, and I will also post different online contests even though i don't join them, in order for my readers to know what are the different contests available online.

My Christmas Wish this Year:A Nokia C7

Why do I deserve a Nokia C7 this Christmas? A question that needs to be answered and yet, nothing comes up with my mind right now. I am really thinking hard, why I deserve to have a Christmas gift so cool and techy.

Ever since, I never bought a mobile phone for myself, aside from the reason that I couldn’t afford one, I think I don’t need to spend so much on a mobile phone where the only thing that do for me is to rob me of my money (note: CELLPHONE LOAD). All my cell phones were gifts, I had my first Nokia cell phone way back in college, it was a gift from my parents because I will be graduating and I never had a cell phone. It was a Nokia 6630, a cell phone with a camera and a memory card, so it was not bad at all. Then when I turned 21, my friend gave me a Nokia N70 as a birthday gift and it was indeed truly a beautiful gift. Because I am a camera whore and I love to capture moments that will never happen again. I never bought a cell phone for myself but I have bought cell phones for my brothers and my mother. Because I know that they deserve to have one, to be able to communicate with each other.

But having a Nokia C7 is a different story. It is by far the most skilfully crafted Nokia cell phone I have ever seen. Just by the looks of it, I simply cannot take away my eyes from it. Having it would definitely turn every person eyes to me with that envious looks because I am holding a very good artwork in my palms. I never appreciated touch screens cell phones because my cousins (who are filthy rich and can afford to buy one) keep on saying that having touch screen phone are not so great because if they forgot to lock it, they will accidentally call somebody or they will lose some contacts when they accidentally press the wrong buttons. But knowing how Nokia C7 touch screen works, I have changed my mind about not having a touch screen phone.

Social networking is the most “in” thing right now, but bringing with you anywhere you go your laptop makes you feel worse. Imagine yourself bringing almost 2 kilograms of weight in your shoulder every day, what would you feel? I feel bad. So here is the greatest innovation cell phone makes have made, integrating social networks to a cell phone. Being a social addict becomes easier. You can easily get live updates of your Facebook friends and check your favorite celebrities’ tweets every minute of the day.

Not all people are great with geography and maps, so having a Nokia C7 would make my life easier. I easily get lost in different cities here in the Philippines but having my own GPS navigation, I will be calm and worry-free driving around towns and cities.

I don’t need to bring my laptop anymore, I don’t need to bring a map anymore, and I don’t need to bring a camera anymore because Nokia C7 captures high-quality photos and HD video using its 8 megapixel camera.

Nokia C7 is what a blogger like me deserves to have. Though I have been blogging for almost a year now, I still consider myself as a newbie in blogging and I realize what a blogger really needs. A blogger needs to have a camera to capture the moments worthy to be blogged about. Aside from that, she also needs a cell phone to communicate with her network of blogger friends, and to be able to know the events they are attending to and will be blogging about. And a blogger needs a laptop in order to post her entries into her blog, but mobile posting can now be done. So all a blogger needs is a Nokia C7, to capture the moment, to communicate with friends and to make blog entries. Nokia C7 is like an item which can do all the things a blogger needs to do. I deserve to have a Nokia C7 this Christmas and that is my wish, because I have been a nice blogger, a nice friend, a nice daughter though there are times I have been naughty this year, it is just minute compare to the good deeds I have done. I deserve to have one, because a blogger like me with so much love and enthusiasm for different things and places that I wanted to blog about needs something that can make my real and my internet world connect. So please, dear Santa, check my wish list and put into my Christmas stocking that perfect gift for me, the Nokia C7, here is a picture of it in case you miss the advertisement.

My Everyday Eveready Moments

Eveready has been a part of my grandfather’s father’s life and I am not aware of it, the only thing I am aware of is that Eveready has been a part of my grandparents, parents, relatives, my neighbours and my life.

What would our life be if we haven’t known Eveready? That I do not know. Because Eveready has been there, always been there, a very reliable source of energy when all else fails. My grandparents were the first settlers (that is what the local people call them back then) here in a town of Bukidnon. As far as I know (my parents told me stories about how life works in the mountains), there were no electricity in our town before and all they have was “gasera” (lamps that uses gas/petrol in order to produce light) and the big flash lights powered by Eveready batteries in order to have a temporary light when night time comes. There were no televisions back then because there was no electricity; but having no electricity doesn’t mean that my grandparents are not up to date with the current news because they have their AM/FM radio that is battery-operated.

When I was born, my little town has an improvement and that is “electricity”. Yes, now it would be easy for us because we already have electricity, it became a necessity. Electricity provides us, the town’s people, with the energy that we need in order to have lights in the night, to plug and turn on our black and white television sets, to listen to our karaoke player but still there are times where Eveready is still our choice for some of our needs that Eveready could only provide.

Black outs were still a problem, even until today. And I can still remember before I took my final exams in high school, there was a black out and there is nothing left for me to do but look for Eveready and my father’s flash light in order to help me study with my exams for the next day. If we don’t have it at that time, what will happen to me if I have failed the test? Instead of going to College, I will end up taking 4th year high school again just for the brown out. This may just be a very small part of my life, but it can cause a major problem or a big U-turn for my academic life. So, thanks to Eveready for being there always.

There are things that we don't expect to happen and if we are not prepare for these kinds of events we will suffer different consequences, but being ready will help us overcome the fear of the future and thus will make us more successful in life.

It pays to be ready, and that is to have Eveready always in your house.

Greenwich Sports Bottle

When we went to Greenwich to eat, I didn't know that they had a promo for that day called "Pop and Get Me". There is a wall full of balloons and you need to pop one in order to get the prize. But you need to buy first in order to qualify for the promo, I don't have a problem with that because we went there to eat, right? So what did we win? Oh, that little Greenwich Sports Bottle over there.

Starbucks Giveaway

I really, really, really want to own a Starbucks Planner and I haven't seen one in my own eyes. We don't have a Starbucks Coffee Shop here in my place and the very nearest one is in Cagayan de Oro which has opened just last month I think.

I really need your help with this one and if ever I won one, I will be very happy :)

So, how can you help me? Please like Nomnom Club's FB page and then comment on my submitted picture, the picture with the most number of comments on December 15, 2010 wins the planner.

Thank You so much Guys.

More on Black-Outs

Black outs and Lightning were my enemy for these past few days because I simply cannot turn on my laptop due to power blackout and the lightning, the lightning has hit the cell tower of Smart here in my place. I don’t want to get old worrying and having a stressful night thinking of how to do all my tasks because I simply cannot do some research without my laptop turned on. Using Mr. Google to look for me some important knowledge stored in him and while checking and reading different articles I could also read some new products about Christian Dior which can keep my youthful glow intact.

But then again, the heavens have not hear my woes, and when I have asked the Smart Center when will our signal can come back, the person just told me that they do not know because technicians are off duty on Sundays. Dear God, how can I keep my wrinkles from sprouting if I encounter such problems? Thanks to Borghese for a collection of different face and body products that can keep my skin in a good shape effectively.

Too much about desperation and my distress self, I really want to get myself a rest. Because worrying for problems like that won’t get the job done, I cannot change the fact that I am not a technician and I don’t know anything about returning the signal to my cell phone and plug it back and the only thing I could do is to use apply some Clinique products on my face to keep it clean and comforted.

Dressing Up Blogs according to Grace

I do not know how to design my own blog's theme, I don't even know how to make a badge for my blog, ever for a simple one. That is why reading and visiting Grace's Blog site about Dressing Up Your Blog is a fun thing for me to do.

What inspires me most about this blog site is that Grace shares different views about designing and creating themes for a blog site. And my fave post is Grace's tips on Creating and Designing a Blog.

I mean, hey, who have thought of writing clearly, I mean in black and white what you must and you must do in designing your blog? Yes, there are other blog entries or blog posts from different blog owners or blog sites but Grace has attack the article differently.

I know not so many things about blog designing and what to put and how to put the things in my blog and I am glad that I have read this post because I know now that I should resize the pictures that I am uploading together with my blog entries and that I should not over decorate my blog and I really need to organize my widgets. Thanks to Grace.

I wanted to be a SPY

I love watching CSI TV program series and Leverage. I am also beginning to love NCIS aside from my devoted time for Numbers. Hey I am beginning to think and act likes a CSI agent sometimes that I really wanted to buy a Key Logger in order to know what my brothers are using my laptop for. Maybe they are checking those cheats again for different PS games they have in their rooms or maybe they are checking on what’s the in fashion for men these days.

If only I could be somewhat a spy in my own way, because sometimes I feel like I am Angelina Jolie on that SALT movie or perhaps Jennifer Garner when she starred ALIAS. It felt like a sexy way of thinking for me, huh but really, I wanted to go to school somewhere where I could learn all that stuff.

Sometimes I wonder where my brothers are going because they don’t tell me where they are taking the car. I really want to know where because I end up filling the fuel tank and they just use it every time and the car gets home with almost an empty tank. A GPS tracking device might be of use and I am thinking of buying one.

With all these technologies, I might end up being Mrs. Smith after all.

A Great Pinay MOM

I have visited Pinay Mom many times already but I forgot where I really have found my way to it. I love the blog entries which tackle different topics and just about anything about being a mom and about being in the Philippines.

My favorite blog post in Pinay Mom is the 5 PinayMom tips when applying for a Credit Card. Honestly, I already have a Credit Card way back last year, 2009. I was not a fan of Credit Card because there is no such use for the plastic in my place. I came from a hometown where cash is always better than credit and there are no shops, malls or gasoline stations that would accept a payment using a Credit Card. But I just know in Pinay Mom why a person must have a Credit Card and why and when to apply for it. I know what budgeting means and I know where my money should go, I have a stable income generating business so therefore I could get one. Before, I seldom use my Credit Card but now I have learned how to use it and I always pay on time in order to avoid big interest that the bank is earning from me. I just use it when I needed it and for convenience purposes only.

And for those who have no Credit Cards yet and thinking of having one, better check out Pinay Mom’s say about the plastic before getting one.

This is my entry for BlankPixel's contest for my favorite sponsor's post.

Online Tutoring can be Cheap

Online Tutoring has come a long way. Back in the 70s there are were no tutors for kids and college students, they need to be a Math problem solver in order to pass the exam and they need to do their home works on their own with a little help from their parents. Come early 90s, tutoring has become a sideline for teachers who need to earn more money but there are also Free math help for those who can’t afford to have a tutor.

These days, Online Tutoring is the next big thing, Math homework help and Free homework help can be found on the internet and so it is easy for students who cannot find some help in school or at home on how to solve different College Algebra expressions. We already know that Math, everything about Math is hard but it will be easier if a student can get a lot of help.

There are many online tutoring sites but finding the right site at the cheapest cost is sometimes hard. It is a good thing though that Factoring Polynomials can also be found in online tutoring sites because it is one of the hardest part of the Math subject. Math word problems can be easy and fun with the help of online tutoring sites.

Black out plus No Signal equals No Work DONE

Yesterday and today was the worst day of my blogging life. I know that I should be thankful to God for every day that comes into my life because it is a blessing that I had another day to spend my life with. But I just hate my day yesterday and today because of the black out and no signal problem in my place. Yeah, you read it right. I've lost my connection and I have lost some $$$.

But then again, I am still thankful because after all the lightnings and thunder last night, nothing happened bad to us, except for the laptop charger of my father because I think it was caught by the lightning and it exploded.

GT: I LOVE SHOPPING

Last Thursday for November and I am so happy to say that I didn't MISS one. The last topic is what we shop in the accessories or apparel section. I am a TEE fan, especially those which has quotes or different sayings printed on them. I love to visit Penshoppe because they have Express-On t-shirts and that is what I love most. I am a fan of jeans before but right now I go for shorts. I love to go scouring for some ukay-ukay too. When I was young my mom would not buy me new stuffs because we don't malls here, but we have so many ukay-ukay in the market. It is cheaper yet a very good quality of clothing.

When it comes to accessories, I am an addict but I don't buy expensive ones. When I was in College I used to go to the Cogon Market in CDO and check for the Taiwanese stores that sell trinkets, earrings and bracelets at lower and wholesale prices. It is a great gift for god-daughters you know. But now, my mom is the one who buys me stuffs like that. Especially when she goes out of town because she knows I would love a new earring or necklace in my collection.

The Change in Kikamz Body

Motherhood is a cycle in a woman’s life where every woman encounters the greatness of God and the miracle of life.

My favorite post in Kikamz’ blog site is the Look Who’s Pregnant?! Post. Giving birth or being pregnant is definitely a woman’s true essence. In this post, Kikamz shares how she discovered that she is pregnant, the emotions that fill her, she even tells us when she got pregnant. She also tells us that she can’t make it without her husband’s help. I am happy that Kikamz had a husband to share her joy and pain while she is pregnant, craving for different foods and all that stuffs, going to the OB for the monthly check ups. A very supportive and caring husband indeed she had and every woman in the world deserves to have one.

I can relate well to this post, the pregnant part and giving birth minus the husband story part because as I said I am a single mom. I went through every Kikamz adventure with being pregnant. The only thing is, I did it SOLO. I have no husband to love me, care for me or support me while on labor and giving birth at the hospital. But I am happy that I have a family who loves me dearly and shows me that I am loved by taking care of me while I needed help. Sometimes I did wish that I have that someone too, but maybe in time I will.

This is my entry for BlankPixel's contest for my favorite sponsor's post.

I Want 50x More Poise under Pressure with Fairer Skin

I think most of you, my readers, already know that I have a small farm and a little business here in our town. I don’t do the dirty and hard work in the farm but I still visit the farm. I went there to survey and to check if the people who I pay to work really get the work done. I also check if the crops (sugarcane) are doing well and if ever the crops still need some fertilizers in order to grow more. I sell coke for a living (Coca-Cola). Sometimes when my salesman/driver is not around, I drive the Elf in order to deliver the stocks. I cannot just sit around and wait for my salesman to be present in order to deliver the stocks because loss sales for the day will not be sales tomorrow. And these two situations, I always encounter Mr. SUN.

My mom has fair skin; she has Spanish and Chinese blood maybe that is why she is fair-skinned. My dad is super-brown if there is such a word, he is Ilocano and a typical Filipino, sometimes people describe him as tall, dark and never mind (LOL). That is Milk and Coffee team up and so the result is Coffee but not black (ahahaha).

There are times that when I look into the mirror, I am happy to have fair colored skin but there are also times that I want to be fairer. Yeah, I have tried putting on sunscreens, lotions to make me white, but I never tried drinking those whitening pills though because I am scared for the side effects. There are soaps who claim that it can make you have that “Artista-looking skin” but I have doubts though.

I work under pressure and I don’t like to worry much because it makes me look older. I want 50x more poise under pressure with fairer skin. I want to focus on my work and not worrying about getting dark that is what I really want!

And like Earthlingorgeous I want 50x more fairer skin. Thanks to L'oreal for creating such innovation.

Johnson's Baby Bedtime Soap

I don't know if you can still remember when I put an ad about the J and J's Mommy Survey here in my Blog.

But I can still remember it and guess what the man from LBC delivered to my house : 12 pieces of Johnson's Baby Bedtime Soap.

I love the SMELL so much.

Thanks Nuffnang and J and J.

GT:Home Section

I don't want to miss Girl's Talk that is why I am here again making my blog entry for this week's topic.

I am not my mom so you will not find me in the home or house ware section in the Malls. I am still living with my parents that is why I don't need to buy anything lacking in the kitchen or in the house. Maybe there are times that my mom would ask me to buy something for the house.

But when the time comes that I needed to buy some new stuffs for my new house then I'd probably stay longer in the kitchenware :D

Fat Girl No More is Still a Little Girl

I have made so many blog entries about Teacher Ria. She is the author of Yapatoots and Fat Girl No More.

I already made a blog review for Fat Girl No More and I am not making another one just yet. I will just make a blog entry about my favorite post in Ria's Fat Girl No More. Even though I don't have a "how to lose that weight" problem I still love to read Ria's journey in fighting obesity. Because the blog is just not all about how to conquer that fats but it also caters to different advocacy and topics that she feels like writing.

My favorite post is that Little Girl Lost in the Moment entry by Ria. Each and every one of us has that child inside us that even though how far our dreams and ambitions have taken us we will still sometimes feel inferior and lost. I can relate to her story, about what she has written. Ria says that she knows how to take care of the people she loves and yet she doesn’t know how to take care of herself that way.

I can relate to this post so much because sometimes I also feel so alone and that I worry so much about things that are not important. The bottom line, I think, is that everyone needs someone to take care of them too. It is not that we cannot take care of ourselves, we just need that someone who will show us why we exist, why we are here, why on earth we are alive.

This is my entry for BlankPixel's contest for my favorite sponsor's post.

Georyl is Blogging with Her Heart

GEORYL

I have come to know Gee (Georyl.com) because of the exchange link project by Mommy Vernz. I was checking the stats or my site (Farm Girl Blogger) and then one of the referring links came from Gee. So I paid her site a visit and I was thankful that I did because there are so many things that one can learn from her site.

Last October, Gee hosted a giveaway and I joined (I am a contest-addict, remember?). I joined and well, I won twice for 1000 EC credits and I also won the special prize, free hosting for one year with free domain. I didn't know that I have so many comments in her site because I thought more people were interested to win (there were many people who joined and won different prizes).

Well, this post is not about how I met Georyl but about my favorite post in her site. My choice would be Georyl's article about "her man". Well, every girl dreams of her own fairy tale, her own Cinderella story, her own Prince Charming and here Georyl finds her own man. This post is indeed was blogged by Georyl with her Heart. Anybody could write anything, topics that is about things, people, places, but not all people could write something like this just out of the blue. This kind of article needs to be written with a heart and here it is, a very beautiful article about a man that not only met Georyl's standards but has surpassed it.

I was touched by this post because I am a woman myself and I have met my ideal man too, me and Gee have the same qualities in our list for our ideal man and meeting them (our man) is a chance of a lifetime. A chance that we should not let pass and glad that we didn't.

This is my entry for BlankPixel's contest for my favorite sponsor's post.

I hope I did the right thing in order to make this blog a Do Follow. Because if I didn't then I am disqualified to join Mhel's Contest.

Please tell me that I have done the right thing. Any body?

GT:Health and Beauty Buff

I will just answer this given question by Niko "As a shopaholic, what do you usually fill in your grocery basket from the health and beauty section?".

The things I put into my grocery basket in the health and beauty section are Safeguard soap, Palmolive shampoo, the sanitary napkins and feminine wash. I don't buy lotions because I always have them for FREE (my aunts and cousins from abroad keeps on giving me lotions and colognes as "pasalubongs").

I don't get to shop at Watson's because I need to travel 5 hours in order to be in SM-CDO.

Nursing Wanna Be

I am a Commerce student once in my life and I never regretted being one. I used to love accounting and I still love it now, calculators, columnar sheets and pencils were my best friends back then. It never occurred to me to study nursing though my Aunts and cousins (who are nurses) always persuade me to study nursing. But now, I think I want to be a nurse because aside from the hefty salary I could get (if ever I can pass the board exam and work abroad) I could wear nursing scrubs and uniforms that is very fashionable.

I didn’t know that there are so many choices for nursing uniforms and scrubs, I could try pink scrub because pink is my favorite color. A commerce graduate works in an office where the only thing that an office employee could wear is the company uniform, where in nurses have the choice of wearing different scrubs complete set.

Well, I think it is not too late to go back to school and study nursing and wear those cool scrubs!

Online Tutoring might be the Solution

My life is like an open book already from the time I have decided to make a blog. And yet there are still things that people don’t know about me. As far as I can remember, I am good in solving Math Questions even when I was in grade school. Solving Math problems are my thing and making essays are not. It is easy for me to perfect a Math exam rather than writing a 15 sentences essay answer to an essay question. In high school, I even received the Mercury Drug Math Excellence Award.

But I am not good at all subjects. I needed Chemistry help when I had the subject in Third year high school. My teacher was one of the “terror” professors in our school and it was not easy listening to her while looking at her fierce eyes. Chemistry was a bit hard maybe because there are no motivations for me to study more and excel at the subject. Maybe I was just not good when it comes to the Science subjects because I also seek for Physics help.

If only online tutoring was available when I was young, studying for an exam won’t be difficult. Even college students still needs tutoring at these subjects because a student cannot easily learn through common sense or by studying by themselves. I was once a student and I know that it is a great help if there are people who are more interested to teach them without spanking them.

GT:Grocery Shopping

The topic for November in GT is all about $hopping!
I can't seem to find new photos that is in the Grocery Area, so let me just post this one.

The picture above is taken at Davao, NCCC mall I think.

But now that my son is already big and can push his own grocery cart, my money is not enough anymore for our groceries. Why? Because he buys his own foods and drinks too aside from the things that I needed to buy. Jb's cart will be full of biscuits (skyflakes, oreo, rebisco chocolate coated biscuits), drinks (chuckie's choco milk, nestle fresh milk, yakult) and candies while my cart is full of his diapers (pampers), milk (Nido 3plus), junk foods (V-cut, chippy, muncher), bread and spreads.

The BIG CHANGE in My Life

From the time I was born, many changes have happen in my life that I could not remember anymore. Being the only girl in the family, everything I need and want is given to me by my parents so I consider myself to be lucky. Lucky to the extent that I became a brat, simply because everything I wanted is given to me. I am a teacher’s pet (hello, my parents always donates in my school so they love me) and my classmates are envious of me (yeah, really, I know because I have everything from headbands to shoes, in brand new). So you see, being a spoiled-brat that I am, my parents are proud of me because aside from being a multi-talented daughter who can dance and act, to being the head of the governing body of the school and to being the valedictorian of my class.

The biggest change in my life didn’t happen when I was in grade school (I stayed to be the bratty girl that I was until high school) nor in high school (I never let go of my position for being the school President or the School seal in the school band or the Valedictorian title that I had) neither in college. The biggest change happened after I graduated and while I was having my review for the board exam. I GOT PREGNANT.

Okay, you might wanna know why it is so much of a big deal. I came from a small town where almost all people know each other, though we are not that rich, I came from a well-known family. Both of my parents came from a prominent family. Politics and the likes, their brothers or sisters being big farm land owners, etc. So being pregnant out of wedlock is a very shameful act. And yet, the pressure of getting married didn’t push me hard enough to choose to marry the man who got me pregnant. I didn’t want to get married for the wrong reasons. Yes, I admit I was wrong when I engaged myself into Pre-Marital Sex but I think that one mistake in my life should not be solved with being forced to marry the person I am not sure of being married to. Because as we can see right now, more and more broken family emerges because of young couples being forced to marry each other when the girl gets pregnant. And that is one of the reasons why I never got married, I don’t want to be forced to do something I am not sure of doing. Getting Married that is. I want to marry a man because I love him so much and that I cannot see myself not being his wife. I don’t want to marry a man because he got me pregnant, I want to marry him because I want to, because I know that I would regret it if I don’t.

After that, the next big thing that happened in my life was that I rise up from the FALL. I was like an angel who has lost her wings to a fire and has been cast away on earth and tried to walk like a normal human being. At first, it was so hard; I have no idea what would I do in order to be myself once again. But I never lose hope; I keep my faith in God in and myself and in the people who believed in me, my family and true friends who stood by me. And now, after 4 years, I am proud to say that I am a SINGLE-MOM who raises her own child from her hard-earned money. I have a little farm and a business, I write and I blog for a living too. Every day that an opportunity knocks on my door, I don’t let it slip away even if I would only earn a single centavo for selling one cupcake, I would still sell it.

Lastly, I am not perfect, I am just human. I am not God or an angel that I cannot commit a mistake so for all the people who have judged me, thank you for doing so, but remember that you are not God too.

For all the teenagers out there, don’t think that being a single-mom is COOL, or that being married is the answer to your agonies and problems with your parents because it is not. You should be thankful for having your parents to love and guide you and scold you when they needed to. There are more to life than having a child at an early age, if you can’t be good, just be safe.

There is something that I still need to change in my life that is to be more patient. Patience is a virtue but sometimes I get so irritable because I am not patient. I hope I could overcome this feeling because it doesn't bring any good memories to me, and sometimes it breaks some friendships and relationship with the people I love.

The big change that happened to me turned me into a better person that I am right now. I became wise in decision making, I became more stronger and determined to succeed in life because I have a son, and a beautiful one, that I needed to offer my success in life.

GT: My ALL TIME favorite book

I am having a hard time choosing for my all-time favorite book. I can't seem to think of a book to share for this week's topic.

Maybe I will just stick my favorite author then share something he has written.

This is what Google Book has to say for my all time favorite :
On his 83rd birthday, Eddie dies trying to save a little girl. He wakes up in heaven, where a succession of five people are waiting to show him the true meaning and value of his life. One by one, these mostly unexpected characters remind him that we all live in a vast web of interconnection with other lives; that all our stories overlap; that acts of sacrifice seemingly small or fruitless do affect others; and that loyalty and love matter to a degree we can never fathom.

Yeah, I won't get tired reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven over and over again. It always leave me thinking who will be the five people I will meet in heaven when I die.

GT:Page Turner for ME

I don't want to miss any topic for Girl's Talk this months, so here is my entry.
I have learned to read the day I learned how to walk. Okay, that was an exaggeration, again. I love to read, how many times I need to tell my readers about that?hahah

So, my entry for today might probably left my readers thinking of who that author was, unless she is 30 years old and up. You see, when I was in high school I always stay at our school library. Many of our books even text books are donations. I have discovered this great author through her old books, az in, they are really SUPER OLD that some pages were almost torn and thank God it is hard bound. I can't get my hands off at these novels, Agatha Christie's novels. Maybe that is why I love mystery books like Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys because of her. The books I have read were : The Body in the Library, At Bertram's Hotel, A Carribean Mystery, Halloween Party, The Mirror Cracked from Side to Side, The Thirteen Problems and some other books that I have forgotten.

Another favorite author of mine is Patricia Cornwell, especially the Kay Scarpetta series. I just can't put down Post-Mortem once I started reading it, so I have finished it in 3 hours.

Have you SEEN Kim Chiu and Enchong Dee's Coke AD?

Yes, that is a Question.

I always watch TV at night simply because I am waiting for my favorite teleseryes in ABS-CBN(Kapamilya po AKO).

So, during the advertisement I was able to watch Kim Chiu and Enchong Dee's Coca Cola commercial. I don't know if the televiewers were able to catch a glimpse of the couple because it was soooo fast. I think it was only the 30s or 15s TV ad, that is why.

Anyways, twatch out for the advertisement where the first part is Santa Claus holding a snow globe. And when he moves it to make the snow inside the globe move, the world turns upside-down too. That is where Kim Chiu and Enchong Dee came out, they were both sitting on the edge of a bench, and when the Snow Globe was turned, I think they were brought closer to each other and KISSED each other.

Just CHECK it OUT, okay?:)

YAY, PAGE RANK of 3!!!

Free PageRank Checker

See that? That is what Google PR Checker gave me. I so waited for this one for so long and finally, it came to me. :)

So happy, I hope more opportunities would come my way now.

Coca Cola Christmas Promo

Christmas is fast-approaching and every year it is customary for Coca Cola Bottlers Philippines Inc to have a promotion for their products.

As I can remember it, Coca Cola had a promotion way back in 2007 a set of spoon and fork, all a consumer must do is to buy a 1 liter Coke look under the cap and must find the message "Free Spoon and Fork". In 2008, Coca Cola's next promotion was the Coca Cola Glass wherein a consumer must buy 1 liter Coke and collect at least seven caps to exchange it for the Coca Cola inspired Glass. And in 2009, Coca Cola's next promotion was the Coca Cola Plates. In order to own these plates, a consumer once again must collect seven caps to exchange for the plates.

And now, my dear readers, Coca Cola's promotions for December 2010 is a Coca Cola Glass again. Yeah, it is a Coca Cola Glass but it has different colors from the Coca Cola Glasses given last 2008. But this time, one does not only collect caps but also need to find a message under the cap which states "Free Glass". So, in order to have that Coca Cola Glass, the especially marked cap must be found plus four caps ( I think its four, I must clarify this first).

So, look out for the especially marked caps of 1 liter Coke, Sprite or Royal Tru Orange or the 1.25 and 1.5 products of Coca Cola Company.
