I have known Earthlingorgeous when I fell in love with joining online contests. Why? She keeps on raffling different beauty products and fashionable items. Feeling like Ranting

Cars and Me

I just had my pickup truck changed oil last April because I can see oils leaks already. I am not a mechanic so I am not good at knowing if my car is in good condition just by listening to its engine’s sounds. The one who is good at checking my pickup’s condition is my brother but he is not always here. Internet is the next big help I can get, tried to search everything in order to know more about cars and how to maintain its condition at the right level.

I have checked a site about cars and glad that I have found their share about Car Fluid Leaks and what to do when they leak or before they leak. At first, I do not know how to check my engine oil and where it is located but just by reading the post about it, I realized how to check it and that I should not overfill the engine oil because it can cause much more damage than having too little oil.

I have also learned that almost always the clutch and brake reservoirs are separated for safety reasons. And that I needed to check them every day to avoid getting an accident. Having web sites like RepairPal is a good thing because they are a great help for car drivers like me.

Pursuing my Other Dream:Photography

Now that I am already 25 turning 26, I realized that if a person lives for 100 years, I have already consumed one-fourth of my lifetime. Looking back, I have been into many different situations and I have been to different places even abroad, I also conquered some of my fears and I have finished my education on time. I will not spend my time on thinking about what ifs and if only now because it is just a waste of time. So I am thinking of enrolling myself into Online Universities to pursue my other dream that is Art, aside from the diploma I have earned from my alma mater.

If only my college university offered degrees on Arts, I would have enrolled myself but they didn’t offer it so instead I enrolled in the School of Business and Management. I would love to enroll myself in online degree programs in photography. It is still under Arts I guess and I really love photography ever since I was a child and that is one thing I really want to pursue before I hit the age of 30.

On Being Lucky

I just realized today, that I am a lucky person in career, love and life. Aside from the fact that I have won so many online contests already.

I am lucky because I have my boyfriend right now, who is doing his best to be the man that I really need. I am lucky that I have my son and my family who stands by me and accepts and loves me for who I am.

Being lucky doesn't mean that you don't have to work hard in order to have everything in its proper places. Instead, being lucky is working for it. Jb's 4th Birthday

Today is Jb’s 4th birthday. We will celebrate it this coming Sunday, April 24, 2011. But we will not let this day pass without giving Jb a treat for his natal day and my brother said he will be the one to pay for our lunch at Jollibee as his gift for Jb. So we will only have to spend the day together with our family, a simple lunch date at Jollibee I guess.

But this coming Easter Sunday, I have prepared a private pool party with all the things that a kid would surely enjoy for his 4th birthday. I have bought a Piñata – filled with chocolates and candies, for his friends to feast on. I also prepared loot bags with toys inside for every kid who will be with us on Jb’s birthday.

Jb is excited for his coming birthday because he has seen his birthday tarpaulin that was given to him by his Godmother Lori. He is also excited to receive tons of birthday gifts from his Godparents and relatives. I only wanted the best for my son and with that I will give him everything he wants and everything he needs to be happy. We are a family of two, a mom and a son, but it didn’t keep us from being happy.

Wishing for a Baby Girl

When I got pregnant, I wished for a baby girl but God gave me a baby boy and I am happy for having him in my life. But why would I wish for a baby girl? I wanted to have a baby girl because I am a girl once in my life and I wanted to have someone who I can share my wishes and dreams when I was young, who I can play with the stuffs I like, who I can dress up with, and talk about make-ups, fashion and boys in the future. In short, I wanted to have someone who can be a little me.

Aside from those reasons, baby girls look cute when they wear baby jewellery. Some of my friends who have baby girls got their girls’ ear pierced before their girls turn one year old. They look so cute and adorable and sometimes I envy my friends for having baby girls because when they become toddlers they would definitely look good wearing fashionable gold necklaces and bracelets.

I have a baby boy now but I am hoping when I get married, I will have a baby girl of my own but still, it all depends on God’s wishes.

Collection as a Hobby

When I was young, I used to collect paper stationeries. Every time my mom goes to the city I always ask her to bring me paper stationery that is unique and different. I still have those with me until now; they are tuck and safe in one of my drawers. Aside from that, I also collect stamps, I bought some and some were taken from different letters that has been sent to me by my friends from different places.

As I grow up, my love for collecting different things has always stayed with me. The next thing I collected was postcards, key chains, different souvenirs from different countries and even t-shirts with different prints of places I have and have not visited. Yes, it is expensive to collect things but if you have a heart for it, the cost will not hurt you. You can start collecting paper bills from different countries or coins from different countries, you do not need to pay for it, you can ask your friends who have visited the place and maybe they have spare souvenirs that they can share to you.

There are people who collect for a living, and there are also people who collect things as a hobby. I know Imelda Marcos has a collection of jewelleries and shoes which are normal for rich people, some celebrities and famous people collects expensive cars, houses, bags and even toys which are collectors editions. But we cannot afford that right? We can start collecting things which we value but are cheaper than those things.
