Havaianas Slippers from Maria

I consider myself a contest-addict. And because of that I won in My Maria’s Contest.
I won myself a pair of Havaianas slippers just by guessing Maria’s time of birth. The mechanics was simple but you need to have pure luck in order to win. Because a lot of people joined the contest and I didn’t even get the right answer but my answer is the closest.

Panda Hotel - Hongkong

I'm glad we stayed at Panda Hotel when we were in Hongkong. The rooms were BIG and clean.
They have little refrigerators to keep your food fresh and your drinks cold.

They also have a safety box in order to keep your valuables safe.

My friends brought with them noodles in a cup and instant coffees so hot water is of great help to ease our hunger.

And you won't get bored in your room because they also have entertainment showcase (lolz), just the cable TV but atleast they have AXN and star movies.

I won't ever forget my BED. The bed was soooooo soft, after walking all day long in Hongkong and Macau, it feels great to sleep in a good bed.

Mommy Moments : Motherhood

I think I miss a lot of Mommy Moments post for this month and I am sorry Mommies.

Being a mother is one of life's greatest secret. Motherhood is more than that. I am a mother that's why I can understand children more than anyone else. Right? We know why they are crying, what they want, what do they need, etc.

Marc Nelson is the Man

Marc Nelson.

What comes up to your mind when you hear his name?

For me, one word: The Duke.

I am not a sports enthusiast and I don’t stay up late just to watch Sports Unlimited but I know Marc Nelson is one of the hosts. I am not that addict to watch every episode or season of Amazing Race Asia but sometimes I get to watch the advertisement and saw him as one of the contestant.

But I love to watch AXN, and so I discover this man.

He is very good in hosting, he has charisma when he talks, he looks so good (and yummy...) and he is very good in speaking the English language.

I always love to watch every The Duke’s episode because I get to learn a lot of things.

Last Tuesday was my flight to Manila for my HK getaway and guess what, Marc Nelson flew with me but I am too shy to ask if he could pose with me and get some pictures, so I only took his picture while he was reading his book.

I can’t believe my eyes, he is so simple and cool, Moreno and tall, and I thought it wasn’t him. He brought his own backpack and pasalubong and wait for his luggage.Not the typical Showbiz personality with the PA all around.

GT : Friends from School

To make things different, let's start from my College Friends...
These are my friends from Xavier University. This picture was taken last July 21, 2006.

These are the people I consider as my REAL GURL FRIENDS in my college life...
They are Corie, Jalex, and Mercy. Until now we call and text each other from time to time and do meet ups if we had the time.

And this is my bestfriend since highschool until now, meet EMAK!!! Even though we are far away, she is currently in Japan, we still manage to send emails and chat everytime we are both online. She is the sister I never had, and I will always treasure the moments we had together. This picture was taken when our other bestfriend, JAG, got married (I am still scavenging my cds for our pic).

And this picture was taken last December 2002, during our batch party. These are my Highschool friends.

Mommy Moments: Motherly Advice

Mother's day is fast-approaching and I want to greet all Moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day.

Being a Mom is not an easy task, I know because I am one. Now I understand fully why my Mom was like this or like that. She only wants the best for me and now I know why.

My post for today will be for all the daughters and sons out there.

Treasure your mother after loving God, because she is you mother nothing more, nothing less.
If in times you can't understand your mother's reactions please do not hate her because she only wants the best for you.

Connect with her, spend time with her, every day that comes. Don't wait until it's too late to let her know that you are thankful for having her, for giving birth to you, for guiding and loving you.

GT: Childhood Friends

I had a very colorful childhood, and I will always remember the people who made my childhood life a very memorable one. The friends I had back then are still my friends now. They were my friends during grade school days, turned out to be my closest friends in high school. And up until now that some of us had their own families we still spend time together.

One Day at A Time (REVIEWED)

I don’t know Rache, the owner of One Day at a Time site. And today I am making a blog review.

It’s nice to meet new people and know them through their blogs. I can see in her site that she is a very girly lass because of its color and style.

The site is very reader-friendly, it’s easy to navigate and found the posts you want to read on. Obviously she makes money through sponsored posts and adgitize.

Like Rache, I think we need some security cameras too, because my bedroom has been ransacked a few years back and I just couldn’t bear the thought of having the robber with me on the same room. Good for Rache her husband thought of putting some nails on their cement wall to avoid robbers.

Rache is a member of GT. Girls Talk that is, but I have never visited her site, my bad. I hope I can make up with the lost times and get to know her more. She is a very good mom and a very happy and fulfilled wife as I can read and see in this post.

One Day at A Time is definitely a blog worth visiting for.
