Cars and Me

I just had my pickup truck changed oil last April because I can see oils leaks already. I am not a mechanic so I am not good at knowing if my car is in good condition just by listening to its engine’s sounds. The one who is good at checking my pickup’s condition is my brother but he is not always here. Internet is the next big help I can get, tried to search everything in order to know more about cars and how to maintain its condition at the right level.

I have checked a site about cars and glad that I have found their share about Car Fluid Leaks and what to do when they leak or before they leak. At first, I do not know how to check my engine oil and where it is located but just by reading the post about it, I realized how to check it and that I should not overfill the engine oil because it can cause much more damage than having too little oil.

I have also learned that almost always the clutch and brake reservoirs are separated for safety reasons. And that I needed to check them every day to avoid getting an accident. Having web sites like RepairPal is a good thing because they are a great help for car drivers like me.

I have been so very busy that I have missed joining Techie She's Lucky Blogger Weekly Giveaways for 3 weeks now. And I don't want to miss another one, so here I am making my entry.

The first time I have heard about the word "WEB" was when I was in my pre-school when my teacher explained to us how the spider makes it's web. But then now that I am 25, I learned that there is another important WEB in my life, that is the World Wide Web. I have been blogging for more than a year now, but I have met Mr. WWW when I was in my first year college. Thanks to my instructors for asking us to research the internet for some interesting topics and assignments.

I can't remember where I saw their web site but I know I have read it somewhere. I am talking about MomCenter , I am a mom and reading this web site is a great help. Aside from the fact that I could get some freebies while learning how to be a good mom to my son, learning some tips on parenting and the likes.

When I browse Mom Center two weeks ago, I came to know that they are giving away Drypers diapers. So I grabbed the opportunity and signed up. Just last week, the package arrived. And here they are:

Pursuing my Other Dream:Photography

Now that I am already 25 turning 26, I realized that if a person lives for 100 years, I have already consumed one-fourth of my lifetime. Looking back, I have been into many different situations and I have been to different places even abroad, I also conquered some of my fears and I have finished my education on time. I will not spend my time on thinking about what ifs and if only now because it is just a waste of time. So I am thinking of enrolling myself into Online Universities to pursue my other dream that is Art, aside from the diploma I have earned from my alma mater.

If only my college university offered degrees on Arts, I would have enrolled myself but they didn’t offer it so instead I enrolled in the School of Business and Management. I would love to enroll myself in online degree programs in photography. It is still under Arts I guess and I really love photography ever since I was a child and that is one thing I really want to pursue before I hit the age of 30.

I strongly agree that governments should help their countrymen to pursue their dreams, I am even proud of different non-government organizations that help the people who have talents and who have dreams. Interested applicants can check out http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.

On Being Lucky

This is a blog about winning. Not necessarily about online contests and the likes but also about life.

I just realized today, that I am a lucky person in career, love and life. Aside from the fact that I have won so many online contests already.

I realized that I am lucky to have chosen this business, 3 years ago and up until now I still manage to earn from it. I am lucky because I have my boyfriend right now, who is doing his best to be the man that I really need. I am lucky that I have my son and my family who stands by me and accepts and loves me for who I am.

Being lucky doesn't mean that you don't have to work hard in order to have everything in its proper places. Instead, being lucky is working for it. You won't win the lottery if you haven't bought a lottery ticket, right? Just like in work, you won't earn a hefty sum of money if you will not work hard.
