GT: I LOVE SHOPPING

Last Thursday for November and I am so happy to say that I didn't MISS one. The last topic is what we shop in the accessories or apparel section. I am a TEE fan, especially those which has quotes or different sayings printed on them. I love to visit Penshoppe because they have Express-On t-shirts and that is what I love most. I am a fan of jeans before but right now I go for shorts. I love to go scouring for some ukay-ukay too. When I was young my mom would not buy me new stuffs because we don't malls here, but we have so many ukay-ukay in the market. It is cheaper yet a very good quality of clothing.

When it comes to accessories, I am an addict but I don't buy expensive ones. When I was in College I used to go to the Cogon Market in CDO and check for the Taiwanese stores that sell trinkets, earrings and bracelets at lower and wholesale prices. It is a great gift for god-daughters you know. But now, my mom is the one who buys me stuffs like that. Especially when she goes out of town because she knows I would love a new earring or necklace in my collection.

GT:Home Section

I don't want to miss Girl's Talk that is why I am here again making my blog entry for this week's topic.

I am not my mom so you will not find me in the home or house ware section in the Malls. I am still living with my parents that is why I don't need to buy anything lacking in the kitchen or in the house. Maybe there are times that my mom would ask me to buy something for the house.

But when the time comes that I needed to buy some new stuffs for my new house then I'd probably stay longer in the kitchenware :D

GT:Grocery Shopping

The topic for November in GT is all about $hopping!
I can't seem to find new photos that is in the Grocery Area, so let me just post this one.

The picture above is taken at Davao, NCCC mall I think.

But now that my son is already big and can push his own grocery cart, my money is not enough anymore for our groceries. Why? Because he buys his own foods and drinks too aside from the things that I needed to buy. Jb's cart will be full of biscuits (skyflakes, oreo, rebisco chocolate coated biscuits), drinks (chuckie's choco milk, nestle fresh milk, yakult) and candies while my cart is full of his diapers (pampers), milk (Nido 3plus), junk foods (V-cut, chippy, muncher), bread and spreads.

GT: My ALL TIME favorite book

I am having a hard time choosing for my all-time favorite book. I can't seem to think of a book to share for this week's topic.

Maybe I will just stick my favorite author then share something he has written.

This is what Google Book has to say for my all time favorite :
On his 83rd birthday, Eddie dies trying to save a little girl. He wakes up in heaven, where a succession of five people are waiting to show him the true meaning and value of his life. One by one, these mostly unexpected characters remind him that we all live in a vast web of interconnection with other lives; that all our stories overlap; that acts of sacrifice seemingly small or fruitless do affect others; and that loyalty and love matter to a degree we can never fathom.

Yeah, I won't get tired reading The Five People You Meet in Heaven over and over again. It always leave me thinking who will be the five people I will meet in heaven when I die.

GT:Page Turner for ME

I don't want to miss any topic for Girl's Talk this months, so here is my entry.
I have learned to read the day I learned how to walk. Okay, that was an exaggeration, again. I love to read, how many times I need to tell my readers about that?hahah

So, my entry for today might probably left my readers thinking of who that author was, unless she is 30 years old and up. You see, when I was in high school I always stay at our school library. Many of our books even text books are donations. I have discovered this great author through her old books, az in, they are really SUPER OLD that some pages were almost torn and thank God it is hard bound. I can't get my hands off at these novels, Agatha Christie's novels. Maybe that is why I love mystery books like Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys because of her. The books I have read were : The Body in the Library, At Bertram's Hotel, A Carribean Mystery, Halloween Party, The Mirror Cracked from Side to Side, The Thirteen Problems and some other books that I have forgotten.

Another favorite author of mine is Patricia Cornwell, especially the Kay Scarpetta series. I just can't put down Post-Mortem once I started reading it, so I have finished it in 3 hours.

GT:Funny Books I have read

I am a wide reader (I believe and I think so), but I can't remember any book in English that is too funny for me to consider it as my entry for this week's Girl's Talk.

If comics (I don't know how to explain it), can be considered as a BOOK, my fave funniest of all time would be Pol Medina's Pugad Baboy and Archie's Digest.

I read Jessica Zafra's Twisted but sometimes I can't understand what she is trying to say (maybe too intellectual for me that I cannot comprehend it).

So, it left me into two choices, Eros Atalia and Bob Ong.

I find Eros Atalia's books funny and witty. With slight sexiness too, believe me, read his second book and see for yourself.
I am a great fan of Bob Ong. I have all his books in my bookshelf that I just can't let the moment pass without showing it off. His books are funny not to the extent that he is degrading my country, he only wants to extend his belief to my co-Filipinos. Reality hurts but sometimes it is FUNNY. Yeah, some of his books have many critics than fans (but hey, they read his books).
Bob Ong and Eros Atalia never failed to tickle me.

GT:Book that made you cry

I consider myself a BOOKWORM. I always love books. From the time I was born, I already know how to read(okay, exaggeration. LOL).
When I was in grade school I always stayed at the library every recess time. When I was in high school, I always borrow different novels, books from my school library. And when I can afford one, I started to bu my own books.

The book that made me cry was Tuesdays with Morrie. I always loved Mitch Albom because of his different story line. I have read his books and I fall inlove with him.

Tuesdays with Morrie will definitely make you a cry-baby. It is a story of Mitch and his Professor Morrie. How Morrie deals with his sickness, and how he manage to accept that with a smile made me cry.

And if ever I will be given the chance to choose how I die, I want to die slowly, I want to die the way Morrie died. Because I will be able to tell my love ones that I truly love them, I can ask forgiveness for all the sins and bad actions I have made.

GT:Pink Mania

I hate PINK.
Ooops. Sorry, I think I mix up with my words. Okay, I admit, I super-duper LOVE Pink. Every girl loves pink, who doesn't?? Pink is the new RED, ain't it? LOL

The topic for this week's GT is the color Pink. Ohhh my, I have so many pictures to share(ahahaha).

This is my table in my room, it is attached to my cabinet.
I painted my room pink, yes I did the painting. Those frames where my possessions, cross-stitched them way back 1999.
Sorry, my room is a MESS, I know.
And these are just the things I love to wear. That's a VS tube top underneath my earrings, necklace and bracelet.
This is my favorite pink short-shorts. This picture was taken last year when we had our vacation in Bohol, that is my Grandma right there.
This is my favorite pink shawl, given by my Tita when she went to Baguio last June. This picture was taken in a barge on our way to Camiguin.
And this one right here is my favorite pink blouse. This picture was taken at Panda Hotel, HK.
This is a picture of me during my friend Kakang's wedding.
That is me, sporting a wacky look with a pink blouse. Taken at the CDO airport just before my BF left for NZ.
This one is taken way back year 2005 at Chocolate Hills Bohol.
And last but not the least, my boyfriend's favorite pink shirt that I have is right here.
Okay, just a little trivia, most of my PINK t-shirts/blouses came from just one store, PENSHOPPE. I know, I am an addict. (LOL)

There are more PINK prized possessions in :

GT : GREEN

Today's topic for Girls Talk is the color GREEN. Well, most people believe that Green is the color for wealth. Maybe because the color of the US dollar is green.

I am not a fan of the color green but I don't know why I have many Green Stuffs in our house.
This one right here is a wedding giveaway, I took out the couple's picture and put mine (my graduation picture for our souvenir way back in high school).
These green stuffs right here are Real Leaf Honey Apple and Real Leaf Honey Lemon.
And this is my Financial Accounting Volume One reviewer 4 years ago when I took the board exam.
This t-shirt was a gift from a friend last July for my 25th birthday.
And last but not the least, a GREEN VS :)

That's it for today's GT.

GT:Purple

I LoVe PurPLe. But I am not addicted to it or something. All the purple things I have were all gifts.

This belt with a butterfly is given (I actually force her to give it) by Kuhree, my college bestfriend.
This t-shirt is a remembrance from our family reunion. Actually this is my brother's t-shirt, I wasn't able to attend out family reunion in Bohol.
And these Victoria's Secret were given by my tita from abroad.

See, I love PurPle and FREEBIES :)

GT: My Little Red Dress

The topic for September is all about COLORS. Well, well, well I did vote for this one :)
Here goes my little red dress. This picture was taken last July 20, 2010 at The Obrero's Place during Ruben and Luli's wedding. Their motif was red and so I wore one.

Happy Girl's Talking girlies.

GT: Watching with the Enemy

I haven't tried watching movies with my enemy (maybe because we are enemy, right?). But you'll never know, maybe you have watch the same movies in the theater and you just didn't know it.

If I have to watch a movie with my enemy I would like to suggest "Little Giants". I super love this movie when I was a kid and I still love to watch it now. It is a family comedy movie, starring Rick Moranis and Ed O'neill as two brothers who are rivals. Rick Moranis as the wimpy brother and Ed O'neill as a football star. And of course my all time favorite Devon Sawa as a Pee-Wee Football Star. I don't wanna spoil the movie, but it's like the team of best players and the team of worst players. But in the end, the wimpy players won and the two brothers learned to forgive each other.

GT: Watching with my Brothers

I super love movies, I think I am a movie-addict. But you see, I don't watch movies with my siblings. Because I have two little brothers and we don't have the same taste when it comes to movies. But I know I have watched a Disney movie with my youngest brother and I haven't watched any movie with my other younger brother. The only thing that we had watched together is *tanrantatatan* "Naruto".

Yeah, it is not a movie (but they sell the series on pirated dvds). But if I have to recommend some movie to watch with your siblings, try AVATAR. The love story behind this cool movie will make your sisters love it and your brothers will love it for the helicopters, guns and action scenes that is part of the movie.

GT: Mr and Mrs SMITH

I love movies, who doesn't? And I love this week's GT theme, Movies you want to watch with your bf or husband. I would like to recommend one of my favorite movies, Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I love action-pack, love stories, comedies, horror, etc movies. I love all types of movies, promise, even war movies.

For those who haven't seen Mr. and Mrs. Smith (if ever there is), its lead stars are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie respectively. I love the lead stars and I love the movie. The twists and turns make me catch and grasps for my breath. The story revolve between a husband and a wife who were on a therapy in order to save their marriage without knowing that they are both assassins. They only find out about it when they were hired to kill each other for being the top assassins in the world. I find the movie humorous and action-packed. It is best to watch at night, cuddling with your husband, eating the popcorn and having a soda.

GT: Mean Girls

I would love to watch "Mean Girls" with my girlfriends and this will be the movie I will recommend for you girlies to watch. Simply because watching it brings me back to my old high school days and let me remember the things that made me laugh, cry, smile, hate and love about high school.

Hello... Who doesn't miss high school?
